"great views!"

Rate:  5 Stars

I stayed at the Minoa twice this summer with a small group and had a great experience both times. The rooms are clean and have balconies; I would strongly recommend requesting an ocean view room as its location is one of the things that sets this hotel apart. Beach beds are free for guests and towel rental is available for a euro a towel. We loved being able to walk right onto the beach in the morning. It is at the end of town so it is a little walk to the "center" but we considered it a good excuse to have a stroll on the beach. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very helpful in helping us set up a boat rental and providing us with sack lunches and a cooler to take out for the day. The management was very friendly as were the housekeeping staff. We`ll be back!

"Comfortable hotel right on beach, great base for visitiing numerous ancient sights. "

Rate:  5 Stars

We spent a great 2 weeks here and woluld recomend this hotel to anyone. If your driving to the hotel here is my tip - take the turning for the `port` it is signposted ( it`s the first right turn after the sunset camp sight) keep going on this road. Don`t turn off it you will go up and down and eventullay you`ll get to the town car park. The hotel is not far along the beach about 100m. If you do this you`ll avoid driving through the town which is a nightmare.

"Favourite place to stay "

Rate:  5 Stars

Having spent many a holiday here I can`t praise it more highly than to say, book a flight to Athens and your holday begins as the taxi whisks you to Tolon through beautiful scenery, till you reach Tolon and drive over the hill and there before you lies a view of the sea all the way down to the island of Spetses. Brilliant hotel set right on the beach great staff who always make you welcome and seem part of their family. Situated in the old part of the village right by the harbour. The only noise to wake you up is the fishermen calling to each other as they go out each day, especially in the autumn. Slow pace of life where you can`t help but relax with a glass or two of the local beer. Great food and a good choice from bar meals to a la carte, you just have to try the fish, so fresh.

"33 wonderful holidays"

Rate:  5 Stars

I. my family, and various friends have had the pleasure of spending our holidays at the Minoa for 33 years. We go back again and again because it is a wonderfully run hotel in a superb location. The views from the hotel..the front entrance of which is actually on the beach..perfect for a pre-breakfast swim in the clear warm water..are quite stunning with a lovely island three or four hundred yards across the water..and mountains down either side of the bay.
The rooms are very comfortable..opt for one at the front from which the balconies give full value to the outlook..and the service..reception, bar, restaurant, cleaners is excellent. Guests are made to feel very special from the moment they arrive so the holiday starts at the moment one steps out of the cab from Athens. The night we arrive we sit down at a table on the terrace..a few yards from the sea..order dinner and a bottle of retsina..sigh with pleasure and toast being back at the Minoa.

"Only the best will do for this Hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

My Wife, Son and I have been to this Hotel for the seventh year running. Its still very special, a gem in a plethora of hotels. Our welcome from Yannis, one of the owners was very warm, and indeed on every day of our holiday as with all the staff. It will always be a holiday to remember and we will return again of course.in 2013. Can`t wait!

Room tip: The sea view rooms offer the best view of the islands. Nice and quiet and yet family friendly.

"Top Choice for the Peloponnese"

Rate:  5 Stars

A brilliant hotel which gives you all that you need for a holiday in the Peloponnese. Its location on the beach is ideal for those who want the sand and Tolo is well placed for visiting some of the most important archaeological sites of Ancient Greece.

The Minoa is bright and spotlessly clean and the staff are great - they are always cheerful and helpful and really make you feel welcome.

The Continental bufffet breakfast is ideally suited to a holiday in Greece giving you the best possible start to the day!

100% recommended!!

"Still the Best of the Best "

Rate:  5 Stars

Once again my wife and I together with my teenage son stayed at this hotel for the sixth year running. Its still a great place to have a relaxing break with amenities around such asthe beach front tavernas, hiring motor boats and the usual sea activities. The Moon risng over Romvi Island is quite magical. Fantastic Sun rises also. A sea view room is a must and the view is breathtaking. Good service combine with friendky reception, with a great breakfsat to stat the day off well. Rooms have been updated with new Flat screen TVs, with Wi-Fi on all floors. Will we be back? Weve booked already!

"Our second home"

Rate:  5 Stars

In June 2012 in the Minoa bar terrace a Greek guest turned to me and said, in English, " Paradise must be something like this ".Having first stayed at the Minoa in 1978 and returned well over 50 times that remark said it all.Comfort, 1st class service and a feeling of almost being a member of the Georgidakis family are all part of a stay at the Minoa. For culture vultures the region is peppered with ancient sites including Mikines ( Mycenae ) and the spectacular theatre of Epidavros. If you don`t want to see the sites stay put and enjoy the safe swimming and the beach.
But BEWARE-the Minoa and Tolo are very addictive!
