"A delightful small hotel in a gorgeous town"

Rate:  4 Stars

Dimitsana is magical, and this hotel is excellent and affordable. Breakfast is exceptionally good, with homemade and local products. The rooms afford magificent views over the Lousios Gorge, and you are only a short walk from several charming restaurants in the town.

Room tip: Make sure to ask for a view of the gorge.

"Brilliant balcony and view"

Rate:  4 Stars

We stayed here one night on our travels around the Peloponnese. The hotel is located on the side of a ravine. If you stay make sure you try to get a room facing the mountains and with a view from the balcony. The room is small, bathroom adequate with good pressure and the breakfast was your basic continental. I liked the short walk into town where we had a nice dinner at a local restaurant. Like most Greek hotels the mattress was firm which I prefer. The hotel would be a good base for hikes in the surrounding hills.

"Beautiful hotel!"

Rate:  5 Stars

Fantastic Hotel, it has a beautiful view of the mountains of Pelopponeso. It was very well furnished and it has got a romantic athmosphere both in public areas and in the rooms! The beds are comfortable. There`s no air conditioning in the rooms, but you won`t need it because the temperature is cool. The breakfast was very taste: marmelade, honey and greek yoghurt were home made!!And it wasn`t expensive!

"Right on the gorge"

Rate:  5 Stars

We spent one night here hoping to hike in the gorge. The weather didn`t cooperate but the drive was spectular with fall leaves on the mountains. We were able to walk in the town and nearby town which was enjoyable as both are ancient villages.
The hotel is located right on the gorge with balconies with great views. The hotel is very elegant yet comfortable and welcoming. It is like a resort in a national park. The rooms are nicely furnished and a good size; very clean and well maintained. The abundant breakfast is served downstairs in a large area with large windows.

"colonial? bombay style?"

Rate:  4 Stars

hotel dimitsana reminds me of a old colonial bombay style hotel with hard wood floors and dark furniture, white marble bathroom and plantation shutter doors that opens out to your balcony. i have a balcony facing the street and it is very quiet, request for rooms facing the gorge as the view is amazing. modern sleek lounge area and breakfast at the lower level - your usual simple greek fare of yogurt, honey, cordial, bread and coffee. there is also an open area where you can picnic and admire the gorge views.

Location - not in main village, about 10 mins walk into village. no street lights so walking back at night is quite hazardous.
