"Ideal for families, concept not ideal for pairs. "

    Rate:  4 Stars

We could write down roman in this review, but let me focus only on important items to provide you useful information.
We spent 2 nights in this hotel because our chosen hotel Thalaso was full. Hotel Oasis is family oriented hotel and you should never think about pickup this resort, if you are pair looking for romantic quite rest.
Location ߀“ in the middle of nowhere ߀“ no chance for walk to local village or some shopping outside the resort. Minimarket in hotel, very small, just basic products for extra prices (sun cream ߀“ 25 Euro, bottle of table wine starting 6 Euro).
Room - our room was located in family bungalow area. Our room was designed just for overnight and it was far away from even 4* standard. Room was from 3 parts ߀“ entry with 2 small beds which we used as dressing room, then renovated bath and very small bedroom 3x3 m with corner bed and outdated TV. Far away from pictures on official pages of the hotel. Only plus for this accommodation was, that it was much quitter then main building.
Travelers - 95 % families with school or pre-school children. Majority of travelers Russians.
Pools ߀“ highlight of the resort. Very spacious, clean, children friendly with a lot of attractions.
Beach ߀“ very nice, maintained, clean, flat access to sea, shallow and clean water. No issue with number of sunbeds. Blue flag beach.
Food ߀“ Of course loud, because of the lot of child screaming from everywhere. Quality and variety of the food was typical for ߀?all inclusive߀ resort. Mainly quantity then quality. Sometimes cold, but if you keep in mind 50% are kids, you should not think that steaks will be most preferred there. At all - for our 2 days was quite ok. When you get also that drinks are self-service, then you get your drinks. During lunchtime it was also ߀?tavern bar߀ open close to the pool. If you like grilled meat and some salads, ideal choice for you. Also self-service soft drinks and ice cream near the pool are making all inclusive resort very easy.
Drinks in bars ߀“ you should check what is free and what not. Also it߀™s good to check what߀™s used for making cocktails. Sometime is better to stay with clean blended scotch then get Manhattan with local no name. Service fast and good. If they are free, they are also serving on tables.
Sun-set on main terrace was another highlight of the stay.

"Mostly pros, some cons, overall a very nice family experience "

    Rate:  4 Stars

We chose the Olympia Oasis resort for a family weekend. The hotel was fully booked and crowded but this did not affect the overall quality too much. The public areas are huge and well kept, the beach is long and nice and the swimming pools enough for everybody.
There are many pros for this hotel:
    1. Great beach: sandy, clean, well organized. Showers, umbrellas, activities and watch right on spot.
    2. Great pools including water slides and pool cave! Kids love it!!!
    3. Friendly and well trained staff!
    4. Very good food! Really, it is difficult to keep the quality with 2000 people going for dinner every day but they did it.
    5. Nicely kept public areas, gives you a warm feeling all the time.

    Now to the cons:
    1. Rooms are a bit old and worn out, including only basics.
    2. Very few areas with nice thick shadow to hide from the sun: You have to go inside to avoid the sun. Even in the pool cafe, the shaders do not provide enough shadow, they let the sun through...
    3. Bar seems to have only the basics. Lots and lots of options missing. It is for example impossible to have a milkshake at all...
    4. Price is very high for the rooms offered...

Room tip: Rooms 541 - 549 are a long walk from the reception, so either avoid them or ask for carriage support...

"The best value for money summer vacations family resort!"

    Rate:  5 Stars

Stayed a couple of weeks at this hotel in August 2012 with my wife and two kids and had a great relaxing holiday. All hotel facilities are great, some of them give the impression of a 5 star hotel and not a 4 one. Setting is beautiful and the beach and the pools are great. The buffet menu is rich and balanced. Family rooms are spacious, but simple; anyway this is not what you are looking for in such kind of hotel, where you need the room basically for sleeping. Must mention fabulous kids club (Grecoland) stuff also. The animation shows are nice but not outstanding. We have been on several all-inclusive holidays of this type to various places but this was by far the best.

    "Worth family staying "

    Rate:  4 Stars

Visited for a short spring staying with 3 kids. Family room was quite comfortable although baby cot should have a baby matress as other hotels use to have. Plenty of activity for kids and lots and lots of interesting food. Never ending buffets added more than 2 kilos on me and I say that this was a genuine All Inclusive hotel. Hotel staff eager to help was always present when needed and even hotel manager was around from breakfast time to dinner. Worth the money spent. Last remark is that rooms, clean though, need some freshing up on TV sets and furniture.

"The Ilias Palms hotel is need renovated! Olympia Oasis is very nice "

    Rate:  2 Stars

Because of a big holiday in Greece everything was booked so we only found a room at the Ilias Palms (which is the forth hotel from all Grecotels in Killini) hotel a four flour building at the entrance of the Grecotel complex in Killini .
That hotel unacceptably preserved and renovated in a very bad way.
The carpets in the room had stains and it was worn out . The aircondition was either freezing you or it wasn߀™t working. The elevator seemed that it was made 30 years ago and in overall it looked like it was badly and poorly renovated.
The only good thing is that this hotel uses the facilities of the Oasis Grecotel.
The hotel facilities are highly organized. It has freshwater but also sea water pools for children and pools with slides.
The buffet has a variety of dishes many of which are well cooked Greek ones.
Generally the hotel is very organized in the matter of the food and throughout the day there are snacks.
The staff although is on the run all day is very polite and helpful.

"An upscale package holiday by the sea, but we have revisited......"

    Rate:  5 Stars

The idea of a package holiday does not interest me, however this hotel in conjunction with a self guided driving trip was perfect. Four night by the sea with all the toys and nothing to do but relax. Batteries recharged we drove off for a week of touring the monuments and sites with the whole family happy. Few British but not a problem and very few people not in a package, also not an issue for us. Would have hated not to have toured Greece and just doeb beach but a combination was perfect. Went 3 or 4 times

Room tip: Ask for a good view but away from beach disco.

The hotel is in a great location and offers a good package for a family holiday.

However, the incompetence of the staff at reception and the internet connection that almost never worked ruined an otherwise nice experience.

"Very Good 4 Star All Inclusive in Greece"

    Rate:  4 Stars

Lobby - nice, large, clean, don`t expect marble
    Reception - kind staff
Lobby bar - perfect view, just fine
Around the main building - very well kept garden area, really large. You can`t feel that the hotel is 8 years old
Main restaurant - nice, food is really great for all meals, above 4 star level. Drinks should be improved, especially all the fruit juices
Rooms - just enough. Room cleaning works fine.
Main pool - nice infinity pool, more calm - not many children running around
Lower area pools - children`s pool, sea water pool etc... loud, crowded... as it should be in a family oriented hotel. Greek tourists are really loud !!!
Beach bar - a bit far from the beach, above the lower area pools. Offers all kinds of drinks, fruit juices are cheap junk. Everything else is ok.
Service - no service in this all inclusive concept. You are your own waiter.
    Cleaning works fine everywhere.
Beach is perfect, clean see, sometimes some wind and medium waves.

Room tip: If booking bungalow, ask when booking to be close to the lower pool area. Some bungalow are really...

"Good but there is considerable room for improvement"

    Rate:  3 Stars

We visited Grecotel Oasis in August 2012 for two weeks. Overall, it was a good experience although for a 4-star hotel we expected more - especially in terms of cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.
    (+) Spacious and quiet rooms.
    (+) Great location and beach.
    (+) Good food.

(-) Cleanliness was definitely a problem especially in the pool area and the restaurant.
(-) Rules were not followed. Children`s pool was closed four times because of `accidents`. Of course, this is a fault of the parents and not of the hotel staff, but somebody should make sure that hugiene guidelines are followed. Personally, I did not let my youngest child to go into the swimming pool.
(-) Staff at the reception could be more friendly and helpful.
(-) Umbrellas at the beach need replacement.

Of course plenty of children but it`s normal for that type of hotel.beautifull beach, clear water, very few jellyfish ;). If your are an old man beware the stairs ! Globaly it`s a bit more than a four stars hotel
