"A Wonderful Family-Run Hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

We have just returned from a stay at the Alfa, our second visit to Parga. This hotel is owned and run by the Dimakos family, who are such helpful, hard-working, nice people, they will make your stay perfect. The pool is fairly large and very well kept, the rooms are nicely furnished and everywhere in this hotel is immaculately clean. The hotel restaurant, The Five Senses, in my opinion, is the best in Parga, and we have tried lots of places, but we keep coming back! The Alfa has a great location, just on the edge of town, a few minutes walk and you are in the breathtakingly beautiful town of Parga. For me, this place has everything, and not surprisingly, they have so many guests who return year after year, some of them more than once a year. Great place, I highly recommend it.

"Almost twenty years of visits says it all"

Rate:  5 Stars

We returned once again to our favourite hotel, the Alfa. The welcome was as warm as ever, despite the worries the owners must have for the future of their country. The hotel is as tranquil and friendly as always and we enjoyed many great meals in their Five Senses restaurant which is part of the hotel. The grounds were immaculate and we lounged round the crystal clear pool, just breaking off occasionally to enjoy the excellent lunch time menu - now full of local specialities and traditional dishes, like the restaurant. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean and linen & towels are changed every other day.
We have already booked for next year!

Room tip: The larger and quieter rooms are at the far end of the hotel from the reception/bar and the balconie...

"Super hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

Just returned from the alfa which is a beautifully clean and friendly family run hotel. The food is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable and there are plenty of sunbeds to relax on around the pool. Short walk to harbour and beach.

"Friendly, respectful and excellent value. "

This is my first ever review as I have never felt the need to express my likes and dislikes as an holiday can quite easily have both depending on taste and expectations.
My wife and I have travelled well over the years and visited some luxury hotels including 5* which would take some beating.
This is a family run hotel with mother, father and son, you instantly feel the warmth from the greeting from the moment you arrive and continue to be treated by there warmth, politeness and attention to detail during all of your stay at this hotel.
They keep all their staff working very hard to ensure your room, hotel facilities, eating area and your holiday is as pleasurable as possible.
The food in the 5 senses restaurant is very good, we stayed half board and had the choice of two different starters every night and three different mains, the standard is very good and presentation too, we had something different every night for starter and main.
You must visit lichnos beach as it has a beautiful beach with amazing back drops, the right hand side of the beach is sandy and the left hand side pebbled.
Overall we rate this hotel highly and would to thank everyone for making our stay memorable.
My wife and I do not visit the same holiday destination twice as there are to many beautiful places in the world to go back to the same one again and again, however, we are coming back next year in late may to the same hotel and destination because of how much we have enjoyed the hotel, parga town and surrounding beaches.

Yet again the Alfa didn`t fail us!! this is our second visit and everything just as good as last time (2 years ago)Only downside was a very noisy air con unit which did wake up us .We went half board and food was fab,Choice of 2 starters( sometimes 3) , 3 mains and a dessert. Already going to book again.Thank you Marianne, Lazarus and Dimetrious and all the staff that make this hotel so good.

Room tip: Rooms at front of hotel are great for people watching!

"Fantastic Hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

This was our fourth visit to Parga but the first stay at the Alfa and it was by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and there were clean towels every day if you needed them. We had a bath which was a real luxury. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The air con was included in the price and it was set at a comfortable setting so we never had to touch it for the duration of our stay. The bar had a great atmosphere and the food served at lunch time was very good. The outstanding thing for me about the hotel though was the friendly and helpful staff who made our holiday something special. We spoke to so many people who had been on previous holidays to the Alfa and after staying there, I can understand why. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or returning myself.

"One of the best hotels in Parga "

Rate:  5 Stars

We have just returned from Parga this being our 18th visit. We have always said there is too much of the world to see without going back to the same place. How wrong can one be! This is a wonderful hotel, with absolutely lovely people who run it. Nothing is too much trouble for them. From the minute you step over their threshold to the moment you come away. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The towels and bedding are changed regularly. There is a small fridge in your room. A small charge is made for a safety deposit box. The air conditioning in each room is free. The breakfasts are lovely, with lots of choice, including bacon, different types of cooked eggs, sausage, tomatoes, Greek yoghurt, honey, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice etc. Try the Five Senses Restaurant, is is a beautiful restaurant, which is part of the hotel. The prices are the same as in the town. The food is lovely and presented really well. All in all a lovely hotel to spend your holiday in. Parga is Greece`s hidden secret, and The Alfa Hotel is a hidden gem, well worth a visit. Looking forward to next year, a holiday which is already booked - roll on next year!
