"Clean and comfortable"

Rate:  4 Stars

We stayed here just for 1 night. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy and the reception staff very helpful. They allowed us to keep the room till 13:30 instead of 12:00, as they knew we were there for a wedding and would stay up late. We didn`t manage to catch the breakfast as it was only until 11:00.
The double room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The bed was big with very comfortable mattress and pillows. There was a flat screen tv as well.
The bathroom was also nice, but there was no shower curtain, which resulted in water spilling everywhere after shower. I really cannot understand how difficult it is to put a shower curtain, especially in a hotel where the owners seem to have taken care of most things to keep guests happy.
What could also be better is the soundproofing. We could hear every noise and sound, dogs barking in the corridor (obviously pets are allowed), other guests playing music, next door guests talking loud, everything...
Clima in the room was working fine. There was a balcony with view to the back side of the hotel, they could have put a clothes line there for hanging wet towels and bathing clothes in the summer.
Overall a nice hotel, value for money (we paid 50 euros for the double room without breakfast), conveniently located, a good choice while visiting Nafpaktos.
*The beach next to the hotel is really not good, drive 10-15 minutes further to Monastiraki or Skaloma, although the region is not famous for its nice beaches in general.

Room tip: Ask for a room on the front side to have sea view!

"lovely hotel, value for money"

Rate:  5 Stars

We stayed at Akti at the peak of the season (mid August), and loved it! We got a sea view room which was very clean and spacious, with a very large and comfortable bed, good quality flat screen TV and a lovely balcony (please install a clothesline!). We were provided bathrobes and slippers, and the towels were changed daily. Breakfast was nice and served at the table until late (11:00 a.m.). A wider selection (i.e. cereal with milk) would be very welcome. Staff was very helpful and polite. Bars and restaurants are in walking distance, and parking is easy very near the hotel.
This hotel is definitely recommended!

"Good value for money "

We stayed here with my partner for one night.
Upon arrival the owner of this hotel gave us two keys and told us to pick the room that we like better. Both rooms had the same price> 60 EUR per night including breakfast.
The first room was on the 2nd floor, was a bit small but had sea view.
The second room was on the 3rd floor ,was more spacious and had mountain/castle view.
We picked the second room,as we thought it was more quiet.
Both rooms were renovated, were clean and tidy and had new bathrooms and toiletries.
A/C was working very well.
Breakfast was served at our table in the dining room area, between 07:00-11:00.
Was good quality but choices were minimum. They did not serve any fruits.

The cons of our room>>
Our balcony, outdoor chairs and table were filthy.Bird poop and dirt everywhere, we couldn`t use them.
It wasn`t possible to hang out our wet swimsuits and towels from the beach,as the room had no cloth line or some kind of a "hook"to hang them to dry.
The main door did not have a secondary lock or dead bolt as most hotels do.We felt a bit insecure at night....
Our bathroom did not have a curtain or a shower cabinet ,despite the fact that we very careful not to make a big mess, after having a shower the floor was flooded and everything was wet.
Note:the sea view room had a shower cabinet.

Besides those few complaints,we had an enjoyable stay.
Nafpaktos is a picturesque and very romantic town, suitable for families with young children and also ideal for couples.
Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely return in the future.

The rooms are spacious, bright and spotless. We have stayed in this hotel four years in a row and every room we have stayed in has its own unique designs (all tasteful). Every year we extend the length of our stay because we get so comfortable that we don`t want to leave!

The staff are friendly and helpful and I have to say that this is the best breakfast that I have had in any hotel and I travel quite a bit for work!

Finally, the location of the hotel is ideal as you can park your car and walk to most attractions in Nafpaktos.

"Another fine stay at this fantastic hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

We returned rn to this hotel for the fifth time and I honestly have to say that the impeccable service and the outstanding staff remain the same. Bear in mind that this hotel operates for 41 years!!! So the owners really know how to run one and keep their customers happy. Once again clean rooms, great service and a pleasant experience to return there. I will definitely be back next summer as Nafpaktos is a fantastic little town, especially for families with children.

"Wonderful room! "

This Hotel was a pleasant surprise! We got an upgraded room with a large balcony and views of the Gulf of Corinth. The room was huge, easily 4 or 5 times the size of many hotel rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and was served at our table as opposed to the "standard" European breakfast buffet. One disappointment was that the famous dog "Argo" was not present. We will have to return to meet him.

"Highly recommended"

Have stayed at this hotel for 5 days and we had an excellent stay. All was great, breakfast was not buffet, but it was too rich. Difference types of bread offered, croissant, ham, Turkey ham
yellow cheese and sausages, home-made jams, honey, yoghurt with fruits , fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea ... He had even cheese pie and bougatsa with cream(sweet pie)! Only 5 Eyro per person!!!!
The room was very spacious and crystal clear. the bathroom clean and practical. The room had a fridge, AC and free WI fi fast enough. What was the exeplixe pleasant, large, furnished balcony with view in the sea!
the beach is only 30 meters away and many Cafés and restaurants are located near to hotel.
The staff very polite. The owner extremely helpful. The cost of overnight stay is quite reasonable. I will visit again for sure!

"a gem of a hotel! "

We have now stayed twice at the Hotel Akti and can confirm what everyone else is saying....that this is a hotel that really cares about its guests. the reception areas and rooms are spotless, spacious and much more interesting than many of the bland greek hotels we have visited. The rooms have large balconies..many with sea views and we thought that the room rates were excellent value for money when we visited in late September.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent too.
We shall definitely return as we think that Nafpaktos is a great place.
