"charming little hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

we stayed in this hotel overnight, and still cannot forget the magic aura of the old mansion that was transferred into a hotel. there are only five rooms in the hotel, so you have to be really lucky and book well in advance, as we did. i bet you will be absolutely charmed by this small cute house. our room was decorated like a granny`s bedroom, with all these pieces of wooden furniture and long curtains, but the bathroom had a hydromassage cabin.

"Good hotel, excellent service "

Rate:  5 Stars

We drove and had a hard time finding the hotel as the streets in the old town of Nafplio are unorganized and narrow (which what makes the town charming to begin with). When we called the hotel for direction, the super helpful son of the owner came to get us. Apparently, the hotel was just around the corner.

Well situated at the heart of where everything is, the hotel is rather intimate, with well designed room and excellent breakfast. The owner, a lady and her son are genuinely nice people who made all the difference.

Room tip: It`s tricky to find the hotel when getting by car. The streets are narrow with lots of one way o...

"Great hospitality. Lovely hotel. Great town."

Rate:  5 Stars

This was our second stay at Aetoma in 2 years and we are glad we chose this delightful hotel in Nafplio. Panagiota and Akis went that extra mile to ensure that our stay would be perfect. From fantastic advice about the area to a delicious breakfast, everything was flawless. The hotel is right in the centre of Nafplio but in a quiet square which allows for a perfect night sleep.
We will certainly return to Aetoma and recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Nafplio.

Room tip: Choose a room overlooking the square.

"Great service, great location, best breakfast in Greece"

Rate:  5 Stars

We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I can only rave about it. It is a very quaint, charming little hotel, surprisingly quiet, with only 5 rooms located in the historic district of Naplion. From the very moment we arrived we felt in the best of hands. We got there rather late in the evening and were warmly greeted by the owners. They found convenient parking for us (which we didn`t expect at all), showed us our lovely, beautifully decorated rooms (with balcony and a great view of the castle) and gave us some good ideas on where to have dinner nearby. Overall great service with everything you can expect including afternoon tea/coffee, beach towels when needed, transportation booking assistance, provisions for the road, etc. Breakfast in another highlight in this gem of a hotel - homemade breads, cakes and pastries. Scrumptious! This is a very well-maintained, professionally managed hotel. There is no bar, no lunch or dinner restaurant and no pool, which for us was not a problem at all, given that many restaurants and bars as well as the public beach are literally only a stone-throw away.

Cannot say enough about this hotel. We wish we could of used this hotel for our base but as we visited some of the Greek Islands, that would of been hard. Homemade omlets and homemade jelly for breakfest in the morning. This hotel, while small (only 5 rooms) was the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in during our 2 trips to Greece. Came back from walking around during a hot day, they had water, soda or Ozu waiting for us. Thanks for making our stay in Nafplio that much more enjoyable.

"Superb hotel "

This was a wonderful hotel. PanaYoda, Yula, and Akis were wonderful and couldn߀™t do enough for you. When we were going to the beach ߀“ out came a bag full of fruit for us to take along, when we arrived back after sightseeing ߀“ out came drinks and snacks. PanaYoda is an outstanding cook and made a huge breakfast every morning. There wasn߀™t anything they wouldn߀™t do for you. I can߀™t compliment this hotel enough ߀“ the rooms were beautiful and the hotel was elegant ߀“ great job of decorating and making this a first class hotel. Thanks PanaYoda and Yula for all your personal touches ߀“ you were so wonderful for us to work with. Thanks also to Akis for giving us information on local customs, tipping, directions etc. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: We used 2 rooms while we were there and both were great

"Yes, everything you read is true "

Rate:  5 Stars

I see that this hotel has received a top rating on Trip Advisor.

I just want to confirm that I agree entirely with the top rating and the comments.

The hotel is located very centrally in the old town of Napflio, and is finely decorated inside and out. The service was excellent -- the family that owned the hotel really went out of their way to ensure that their guests had a great experience during their visit.

We were lucky enough to have a room with a large balcony which overlooked the castle at the top of the city. The hotel offered to serve us breakfast on our balcony, which was a special and romantic touch... (as well as an excellent breakfast!)

Overall - I would agree with the other very positive reviews on this website and would highly recommend the Aetoma Hotel to anyone visiting Napflio.

"A Beautiful Small Hotel "

Rate:  5 Stars

This hotel was just perfect for our stay in Napflio. A small family run venue, we found it perfect for our needs. We were a group of six who found the service excellent, a warm welcome with afternoon tea provided as well as a magnificent breakfast was greatly appreciated. A pity we weren`t staying longer than the one night, however will certainly return if we ever visit the region again. The rooms were a good size with a very well appointed ensuite.

"Great breakfast, amazing family-run business"

Rate:  5 Stars

Driving through alleys at night can be frustrating. When we arrived, we were so happy to get out of the car and into comfortable beds, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and the warm fuzzy feeling of family run hotels. The breakfast was generous, and the people who ran the hotel gave us a nice layout of the town.

I stayed with my boyfriend for 3 lovely days at this hotel. We have rarely felt this welcome and taken care of. The service, rooms, balcony, breakfast etc. are absolutely fabulous. We will come again :-)

Room tip: The balcony on the street side has afternoon/evening shade and gives a lively picture
