"A small friendly hotel in Kastoria "

Rate:  4 Stars

I stayed for 2 nights with my family in this small hotel, located approximately 2-3 km from the center of the old town. It is a very clean hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, our room was a little bit small for our needs (2 adults and a 9 years old kid). It would be better to have stayed in a bigger room. However, the owners of the hotel (Papanaoum family) were the most friendly and kind people that I have ever met (and I have been visited many hotels all over Europe). They suggested to us a lot of interesting places to visit and restaurants to eat and this was very helpfull.

"Very Memorable and Pleasant Stay "

Rate:  4 Stars

We overnighted in this pleasant hotel as part of a group tour package. The hotel was located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The old town was about 2km away and so there were no shops nearby. The building seemed fairly new and well-constructed. Our room (No. 306) was clean and adequately spacious and our bed was large and comfortable. We had a distant view of the lake from our balcony. The hotel staff were particularly friendly and polite. Our suitcases were delivered to our room by the porter.

The catered sit-down dinner was served in the restaurant next to the lobby. We had to pay for our drinks though. Breakfast was also served in the restaurant from 7:30 in the morning.

The wall-mounted flat-screen digital tv in our room was of a good size, and the free wi-fi internet access was a welcome bonus.

This is an excellent hotel for those wanting some peace and quiet and modern amenities.

"True Greek hospitality "

Rate:  5 Stars

I visited the Chloe Kastoria on a guided tour, so there were over 30 people, but we were efficiently shown to our rooms. The rooms are modern, and we had a lovely view from our balcony. Our room was spacious and had free wi-fi. The best feature of the Hotel is the staff and in particular the wonderful welcome from the owner of the hotel. We felt more like valued guests than tourists. The food was also excellent. I would gladly have stayed longer.

"Real hospitality"

Rate:  5 Stars

Lovely hotel, lovely team led by Margaritha, two most pleasant days. We had difficulty finding it in Kastoria, but once we did, we felt at home. Helpful staff, full of smiles. Margaritha met us in the morning for breakfast, proud of their home made deserts. And its was good indeed. The hotel is not in the very cent, not on the shore of the lake but it has its advantages - no noise and effectively no mosquitoes. Would love to come again if I have a chance.

"A place like home away from home"

Rate:  5 Stars

We are a group of 4 mature couples who travel a lot together and individually. This was our first time in Kastoria. Our choice to stay at Chloe hotel was the most successful one. From the very first moment we felt so welcomed both by the owners, Mrs. Mimi and her daughter Margarita, as well as by the hotel staff. We had the most relaxed and enjoyable stay ever! The hotel is located in a very quiet area but the city center is easily accessible. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the common use areas very comfortable. We had a very rich breakfast enriched with the owner`s personal touch with everyday specialities, i.e. apple pies, ravani cakes, tyropittas etc. Needless to say that we were spoiled by both Mrs. Mimi and Margarita, with their wonderful hospitality and friendliness. We hope and wish to be back in Kastoria again and definitely we know where to stay!

Room tip: We`ve seen also the suites of Chloe, which are magnificent!

"Wonderful hotel in Kastoria"

Rate:  5 Stars

Our family (two adults and two children) stayed for 3 nights at the Chloe Hotel and had a fantastic time. We booked the hotel via trip advisor and were very impressed.

Margarita and her mother made us feel so welcome. Margarita organised a hire car for us and it arrived within half an hour. I asked for good shoe shops in the town and was given directions and did buy shoes! Our room was very comfortable and we had two bathrooms and a balcony overlooking the lake.

Breakfast was a lovely combination of traditional and regular dishes of the region. Margarita`s mother explained all the food origins and we also made traditional greek coffee in a heated sand dish. We were called at the end of our stay to say goodbye and we also had our accommodation booked for our next destination by the hotel. When we arrived at our next hotel Margarita called to ask if all went well with our journey.

We recommed this hotel highly and we will definately stay again on our next trip to Kastoria. The hotel is not within walking distance to the town but only 5 minutes away with car or bus. We have travelled Europe for six weeks and Chloe hotel was our best stay over the whole time. We hope that this review will help other travellers going to Kastoria choose this hotel.

"The personification of the Greek hospitality in the face of Mrs. Mimi!"

Rate:  5 Stars

My family (2 adults and 2 children) along with our best friends (2 adults and 1 child) stayed for 2 nights in Chloe Hotel in Kastoria. The hotel is situated very close to the city center (5mins with the car) in a nice and quiet neighbourhood overlooking the lake.
From the moment you walk in you are treated like royalty. The staff are polite, helpful and always with a smile. You get to be personally greeted by Mrs Mimi (the owner) and her daughter Margarita who are offering you a brief history overview of the city along with helpful tips on places to visit and eat. Your arrival is also accompanied by a treat of homemade desserts offered by the hotel as a welcome gesture!
Breakfast is a new experience altogether. Mrs Mimi will guide you to the buffet which is full of a variety of selections and will explain you the origin of each of this selection, most organic or homemade. As to what coffee to get, you cannot leave without trying the traditional Greek coffee made in ‘hovoly’ ( in a heated sand dish).
When the time came for us to depart, I felt the need to hug for goodbye both Mrs Mimi and her daughter as being own of my own family member hoping that I will have the chance to see them again soon. They have made our days in Kastoria the most joyful I have ever experienced staying in a hotel so far.
