"Modern, chic, and perched right above Prada"

Rate:  5 Stars

This hotel is in an excellent location. Did I mention Prada? So convenient.

Aesthetically, the hotel is very sleek and chic. I was so obsessed with the shelves in the lobby (which was always warm and inviting) that I actually had them copied in my bedroom. There were so many interesting books to pick up and browse while waiting for a cab or just after breakfast.

The hallways, guest rooms, and elevators are slightly on the small side (which is to be expected although one of our rooms was a bigger suite and that was fine)..but we didn`t mind as it was a lovely little boutique hotel and they made excellent use of the space in retrospect. Also, nice linens and quality bath products. Those are always important.

The concierge was extremely helpful and supremely patient with our needs. They booked us with a great private tour on two separate days. We wouldn`t have found such fantastic guides without them. Service at the lobby, restaurants, and rooms are always courteous and non-intrusive. Breakfasts were tasty and they had particularly good coffee. I also enjoyed the salmon.

I remember some really great restaurants right around the corner (literally turn right when you get out of the hotel and then it`s your first left), lovely boutiques from both international and local brands lining the cobblestone road. The area is so chic and quiet, away from the maddening tourist crowds but just a quick cab ride over to the important sights and nightlife. Istanbul can get a little hectic, so it was so nice to come back to the hotel at the end of a long day or night.

Great value and would recommend this hotel to family and friends. I would probably also check out other House Hotel properties because we had such a lovely experience with this one.

Room tip: If you get one of the rooms that are on kind of the middle floors, you get the view of the top of th...

"A chic haven in a bustling city"

Rate:  5 Stars

We chose this hotel for a six-day holiday trip to Istanbul because we thought we might need to retreat to somewhere peaceful, comfortable, and interesting every evening after doing all the usual touristy things in the city. We were so glad we did! This is a very stylish, small-scale gem of a hotel in a neighbourhood that shines with youth, and vigour, and yes, ... bling! Our room (number 72 on the top floor) had its own balcony, was impeccably clean, and was smartly designed. Breakfast each morning was a pleasure, with a buffet bar packed with fresh fruit, cheese, meats, cereals, bakery items, and a separate menu for cooked food. The breakfast/reception room itself was a delightful place to be. Service was excellent, and the Reception staff extremely helpful. Even if Nisantasi is a little out of the tourist hub, it`s worth staying here as a reminder that Istanbul isn`t just about the past. It`s also about the present and future.

Room tip: Rooms on the top floor west side have a view of the Bosphorus.

"Wonderful stay at this Hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

Our 10 day (Sep,1 - Sep.10, 2012) stay at this upscale hotel was nothing less than FANTASTIC. The area of the hotel is Nashantashi, small neighborhood that contains all the luxury brands and restaurants (I recommend this Area)
Our fully equipped Junior Suite & Double Room with Balcony were tastefully decorated. Upon check-in we were greeted with chilled Drinks and Chocolate in our rooms. Gorgeous bathroom facilities and loads of gadgets to fiddle with. The entire staff is cheerful, friendly and very helpful and goes out of the way to make you feel at home. Thank you Ms. Zeynep Korel for making our trip a wonderful trip. Also, I would like to thank the Receptions staff Mrs. Bahar and Mr. Mohamet, Breakfast Staff and special Thanks to the concierge staff Ummit, Hakan and Sarkan and the others for all the help they provides.
One more last thing, I loved the small table outside the hotel and I would recommend to add more.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: higher Floor with Balcony back view, gives you a good Bosphore view.

"Trendy"

Rate:  3 Stars

In the trendiest part of town. Good 20 minute cab to main tourist sections of Istanbul. The restaurants surrounding this hotel are very good. Room was very nice, but for such a small hotel they didn`t clean the room until 5 or 6pm, which was odd and inconvenient. Good service from the hotel staff and convenient doorman to hail cabs for you.

"A home away from home"

Rate:  4 Stars

House hotel is located in an excellent and elegant location with friendly staff.
The hotel is located in an area which is "the Manhattan" of Istanbul with a myriad of shops ranging from international to local designers and restaurants that cater to all.

Taxis are easy to get if one wants to venture out to other parts of Istanbul. The hotel also has a good arrangement with a taxi service.

A lovely small table for two is provided for smokers at its entrance where one can sit an enjoy the ambience of neighbourhood while sipping tea or coffee.

The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. We complained about a stain on the carpet in our room and the front desk took immediate action. We stayed in both a junior suite and a superior room. In both rooms we had complimentary dried fruits, nuts and a box of chocolates. Compliments go to the night manager, Fatih and the entire staff who were always smiling and extremely friendly. Zeynep Korel, the Hotel Manager, is friendly and gracious.Credits to her for running a hotel which is friendly and hospitable. It was truly a home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in House Hotel, Nisantasi. And look forward to staying there again.

Room tip: We stayed in a junior suite and then a superior room. Both easily accommodated three beds. The air c...
