"a nice experience"

Rate:  4 Stars

i stayed at this hotel 3 nights, they were excellent. The hotel is clean and organized. It is some how small, but it gives you the feeling as if you are in your home.

the location is excellent where you can reach the sea shore and the Sultan Ahmet area in same distance.

the breakfast is good.

the people working in the receiption and kitchen are very nice and polite.

one of them, i think is called (ugor), was a very professional and very polite too, He helped me alot to get to my desired distanations in a more economic way :)

if i come again to istanbul, i am sure i will go again to this hotel.

P.S
the hotel is located in a midest of residential area, which is exellent and quiet to me.

"Nice, Clean hotel with helpful staff at a very good location in the Old City of Istanbul"

Rate:  3 Stars

Sultans Royal Hotel is a nice clean hotel with helpful staff at a very strategic location in the old city of Istanbul (Europe side - Sultanahmet). The room is small (I booked at a double room) but clean. Within 10 min of walking distance, you can reach the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and the touristy Divan Yolu Caddesi. However, try to avoid the Yengec Fish Restaurant they recommended you at Kumkapi. We went there with free transport service provided by the restaurant after the hotel recommended us and helped us make the reservation. But we felt that it was a bit rip off ( a tourist trap!). It was the most expensive dinner we had in our 10 days trip in Turkey. They charged too much for the wine and fresh fish. And we were the only table that night with no other customers! Other than this disappointment, Sultans Royal Hotel is a good hotel.

"Beautiful and clean hotel, excellent location and great staff"

Rate:  5 Stars

I had a great vacation in Istanbul in July 2012! I stayed in Sultans Royal Hotel and because of its excellent location I could reach easily the wonderfull places to visit: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, The Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, the port ( where I took the boat for a very nice trip on the sea). The room I stayed in at Sultans Royal Hotel was clean and quiet with a big, clean bathroom and a huge bed. The staff was very friendly and polite and the breakfast was delicious. I totally recommend to choose Sultans Royal for a great stay in Istanbul! And I definitely want to stay at this hotel on my next trip to Istanbul!

we stayed in Sultan Royal hotel for 2 days and really enjoyed the nice service and clean room there. Just walking distance to Blue Mosque and other site seeings and shoping center. The receptionist is very helpful and sweet. The breakfast is rich. The management is well organized. they offer me an extra bed for my kid for free.

"Pleasant surprise"

Rate:  5 Stars

We recently stayed at the sultans royal hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the very high standard representing very good value for money. It was central, very clean and tidy with a good all inclusive breakfast. We must make special mention of the staff, in particular Ersin and Ugar who provided us with a warm welcome and unlimited information on the must see places in Istanbul. Their friendly assistance was in stark contrast to some of the locals in France and Spain. Nothing was to much trouble to them including laundry and the location of a good restaurant. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for those looking for reasonably inexpensive good all round accommodation.
