"Short stopover in Istanbul"

Rate:  4 Stars

After extending a simple stopover in Istanbul into a two-night stay, I needed to find a place to stay without having any access to internet to do research. A friend recommended Serenity to me, and now after staying there, I would have no reservations doing the same in recommending it to others. The staff were very friendly, always helpful, and I always felt welcomed with each return from an excusion, etc. The hotel is located only several minutes from the Blue Mosque, in other words, very close to all the attractions, but in a calm corner of the neighbourhood. The beds were comfortable and the toilets are clean, which are a very important aspect for me. All in all, it`s been a nice stay!

"Nice staff"

Rate:  4 Stars

Serenity is situated really close to all attractions and old city centre. It is a small and nice hotel. Room we were staying in is really petite- small but cosy. I got stomach poisoning the last day of our stay and had to lie down because of high fewer and cramps and the stuff was super nice to let me stay in the room -no extra charge -for the whole day although we have already checked out.
Nice breakfast at the small but nice terrace every day. All in all - good pick. Istanbul is really expensive these days- much higher prices than 5 years ago when I first came to the city, so I would say that stay in the hotel wasn`t really price for worth but the stuff compensates for all!

Room tip: ROOM 302 IS bigger than all the rest 300rooms!

"Clean, comfortable and well located"

Rate:  4 Stars

This place is well located close to Sultanahmet square yet in a pretty quiet area. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The place is clean, comfortable and the rooms are quite well set up. I would definitely recommend this place since the price, quality and location are a great balance for those travelling on a budget. The hotel provides breakfast every morning on the rooftop. There is a great view you can see the ocean and in the evening sit and listen to the calls to prayer from the mosques. There is a great little restaurant by that has vegetarian eggplant kebabs(and good meat ones too) We went there probably 4 or five times. Can`t remember the name(Might be vegetarian Kebab?) One tip though...My girlfriend and I decided to walk it from the Eminonu ferry(big mistake) It took us probably 2 hours or so to get across the labrynth that is the old city and we arrived frustrated, tired and sweaty at this hotel. Take a cab at least the first time! It`s well worth it, it may look close on the map but finding your way around the old city is ridiculous. Also its hard to find places that serve beer but if you go to the restaurants under the bridge that connects eminonu to Kadakoy(or karakoy) you can get beer on tap.

"cannot recommend this hotel highly enough."

Rate:  5 Stars

This was our first visit to Istanbul, we had seen Serenity Hotel online and booked it direct meaning we got a free airport transfer, which was fantastic! The hotel is just lovely, staff so helpful, Esat on Reception was brilliant, so friendly and helpful, he helped make our holiday! The hotel itself is fantastic, we were lucky enough to stay in the penthouse, the views over the Bosphorous were amazing. The roof terrace in the warmer weather would be just perfect, I need to visit again in the summer! We loved Istanbul, such an amazing historical city, can`t wait to visit again, 4 days wasn`t long enough, will definitely be visiting Serenity Hotel again too, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

"Really worth it"

Rate:  5 Stars

I got to this hotel occasionally-hotel where I was staying(just 10 miters up)was full so they asked me to sleep one night in Serenity.I can say, it was much better then the one I had booked.Serenity hotel was very quiet, simple and cozy at the same time, clean, with tea pot, hot water ,TV and new shower-cabin.It is very well located and doesn`t have any problems with the noise as much as the one I lived in. I regretted that hadn`t seen it before I made a booking.
