"excellent value for money and awesome location"Rate:  5 Stars
I stayed in the park hotel on a recent short backpacking trip to turkey. I stayed for 3 nights at 50 Euros a night which included breakfast. ( I didn`t eat that as it was Ramadan)
The hotels location is absoultely perfect for any first time vistor to istanbul. Only a few meters from the "blue mosque". Also it is right over the street from the Four seasons hotel which in a previous life was the notorious prison from midnight express.
Why was the hotel so good???
1. The location
2. the price is great for what you get... large clean rooms that are furnished well.
3. The staff... There were two seperate guys on reception during my stay, both of whom were so unbelievably chilled out and friendly... They couldn`t do enough to make my stay comfortable.. On my last night one of them even bought me a couple of cans of orange juice for my journey home!
4. The view from the roof!!! Absolutely lovely
All in all i would highly recommend this place for the price..... Do not expect 5 star because it is not... but it is really good value for money. I would stay again without doubt.

"Great little gem hotel"Rate:  5 Stars
The best location between Blue Mosque and St. Sophia. Resonable room rate. Friendly staff and atmosphere. I would certainly stay in this hotel for my next visit to Istanbul

"Stay Here. I Repeat, Stay Here!!"Rate:  5 Stars
I was very happy with the clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly service, fine breakfast, and SPECTACULAR views, and of course the incredibly convenient location. I was deterred from booking this hotel online based on a couple of histrionic negative reviews on this page. I checked it out in person once I got to Istanbul and immediately checked out of my brand new hotel where I was paying twice as much for the same amount of space (and the privilege of trying to sleep next to an active railroad track) and grabbed a suite on the third floor of the charming Hotel Park and loved my stay. The negative reviewers here I suspect will find lots to complain about even if they were staying across the street at the Four Seasons (and paying $500/night). No, Hotel Park is not the 5 star Four Seasons, and when you`re paying only one fifth the price of the Four Seasons, you will be happy with the solid 3 stars conditions of Hotel Park.
The proprietor, Reza, was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful with whatever we needed. He ran out and got my wife some medicine when she was not feeling well, came through with very good suggestions for restaurants, laundry, and whatever we needed. He made quick arrangements and got me a taxi at discount rates to take me to the airport and back when I was in a rush and could not find a taxi without getting ripped off.
Access to all the major tourist attractions, good places to eat, and shopping could not be easier. One look at the street map of Sultanahmet neighborhood will tell you how confusing the street layouts are, and it`s easy to get lost. But, because of Hotel Park`s proximity to the sights and central location, we never got lost walking around.
But the hotel`s biggest asset, better than 5 stars, is its two level roof deck with breathtaking wrap-around views of Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and the Marmara Sea where it meets the Bosphorus. The view is spectacular enough by day--for breakfast. But even more so by night, when the city, and the very nearby historical buildings are lit up, while you relax with a drink in your hand after a day of sightseeing.
I suspect I`ll return in a couple of years and find Hotel Park has been bought out by a big company charging three times today`s rate and replacing the friendly staff with the military efficiency and perfection the negative reviewers seek. Until then it remains an incredible value. So, by all means: Stay here. i repeat. Stay here!!

"Excellent budget hotel in excellent location"Rate:  4 Stars
This is a fine budget hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service. Nice rooftop terrace for breakfast and lounging, with outstanding views. Helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet location for something as central as this. We would come back.

"Park my best"Rate:  5 Stars
Hello friends, I am now here to say you all about Hotel Park. I think many of you are well aware of this but it was my first time I went there with my partner. I just enjoyed a lot with her over there. It was really the best I have ever visited and stayed.
