"Lovely hotel, great location, excellent service"

Rate:  5 Stars

I can`t praise this hotel highly enough and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Istanbul who wants to be close to the top sights (Topkapi, Cistern, Blue Mosque). The rooms are clean and good-sized, there is a lovely terrace available for all guests which has a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are incredibly efficient, always helpful and will answer any questions and fulfill all requests with a smile. The hotel made all arrangements for our airport transfers, recommended local restaurants, advised us on how much taxis should cost so we wouldn`t get ripped off, etc. We had a great experience here and will definitely stay again on a future trip to Istanbul!

"Would Stay Again"

Rate:  4 Stars

The hotel is located near the Blue Mosque,Topaki Palace, and The Aya Sophia and Sultanahmet Square, about 15 minute walk uphill from the hotel. The rooms are average size and very clean. The breakfast is adequate. However the staff is 5 stars, always willing to help you with any problems and assisting with good advice and directions. There was some problems with the wired Internet a couple of times which was resolved. The TV channels had limited English speaking stations which were annoying at times. Overall, if I ever visit Istanbul again I would have no problems staying at this hotel again.

Room tip: first floow if you have any physical limitations, no lift.

"You will not be disappointed"

Rate:  5 Stars

I echo the comments of recent reviewers. From the moment I arrived I was treated like a friend with great courtesy and offers of assistance. The room was quiet, comfortable with good facilities including a spacious shower. Boxes of soaps, shower foam etc were tastefully provided. Breakfast was a delight with many options available - all freshly prepared. Very nice to be able to walk to the main sights in the city.

Room tip: Top floor is further away from the side road and with easy access to the roof terrace.

"Wow excellent value, service and location"

Rate:  5 Stars

Excellent hotel close to the historic centre with Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns, Grand Bazaar and tram all within walking distance. Staff attentive and friendly, rooms very very comfortable with working air con and lovely ensuites. No complaints at all, breakfasts good choice of food with hot drinks and fresh orange juice. Travel tips and guidance provided nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The manager even took us on a mini guided tour.

Room tip: small hotel with only 8 rooms

"Great stay at this hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

This place is great. The rooms are spacious and clean breakfast was sufficient to fuel up for a day in Istanbul. THe thing that sets this place apart is the service level provided by the staff at this hotel. We were made to feel welcolm upon our arrival with our coffee and tea. We were also given great tips with regards to eateries around the area and activities to do during our stay. Esans hotel is probably the most enjoyable place I have stayed at. Would recommend. They even arrange transfers to and from the airports at a reasonable price especially when travelling in a big group. THis is also a locally owned hotel run by the family.
