"Well designed rooms, amazing treatment, nice location."

Rate:  5 Stars

I will definitely try to book again at the same hotel, it worths the money, great location, 100 meters away from Sultanahmet station, and the area is full of restaurants and facilities.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, turkish arabic patterns are all around the place.

the staff is very friendly they can give you all the information you need to explore the city and they took it really easy that we did the check in 4 hours before the expected time and the room was ready for us.

great many bar full of varieties (no alcoholic drinks)

5 mins away from almost everything, Aya Sofia, Sultanahmet mosque

Room tip: I guess all rooms are the same, and even the street view is the same as any other room in the hotel.

"Sultanahmet Experience"

Rate:  4 Stars

Stayed for 3 nights in a family room at the Burckin Suites. The room was very spacious with two king size sleeping areas, each with a LCD TV. Modern compact bathroom. Very clean hotel, with a wonderful breakfast buffet on the terrace while taking in views of the sea and major historic sites. Having stayed in Sultanahmet on numerous occasions this was by far the best location. Friendly and helpful staff. Air conditioning in bedrooms was welcome as the street outside the hotel was too noisy to keep windows open at night but that`s just Istanbul. Will certainly stay here next time we visit.

"Excellent location and nice hotel"

Rate:  4 Stars

This hotel is in the perfect location in the heart of Sultanahmet. It is easily within walking distance of many attractions and about 3 blocks from the streetcar. The staff is not friendly really, but certainly not unfriendly. Our room was very small and faced the street, so if you are a light sleeper, be sure to ask for a back room. There is a unbelievable view from the breakfast terrace. The breakfast itself needs some work. We were there during the heat of summer when it is in the 90s before 9am. All of the food is open to the air and much of it sits in the direct sun. They would be better off to serve many fewer choices and make sure they stay at proper temperature. Also, keep in mind that the whole hotel seems to be open for smokers--the terrace, the rooms and of course, the staff smokes right at the door (standing on the ledge or the sidewalk).

Room tip: Get a room in the back where it is bound to be a little quieter.

"Perfect location & lovely hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

We stayed at Burckin Hotel in Istanbul for 5 nights and it was a perfect base for exploring the city. It was located in a relatively quiet street, although probably best to ask for a room off the street as I believe there can be some traffic noise during the night, and only a 5 minute stroll to the Blue Mosque, 10 minutes to Aya Sophie, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern.

The hotel itself was lovely. Rooms not huge but large enough and very nicely decorated. Breakfast is served on the gorgeous roof top terrace which has a magnificent view of Istanbul. Delicious breakfast and a large range of food.

WiFi very fast and free and the hotel staff were fairly friendly - not out of their way friendly but pleasant.

There is a fantastic little cafe around the corner from the hotel (at the front door of the hotel turn right and then first right again). They make delicious Gozlemes and the owner is a lovely guy from Capadoccia. We suggest steering clear of all restaurants and coffee shops on the main strip as they are so overpriced it`s ridiculous - we paid €40 for 4 teas and a couple of turkish delights!

One pointer is to organise your own taxi to and from the airport. The hotel can arrange this for you for €35 I think it was, or thereabouts, but to grab a taxi yourself by flagging it down it will only cost you around €18.
All in all there`s nothing negative that I could say about this hotel.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel away from the street as apparantly some of the rooms facing...

"Lovely little hotel, top location"

Rate:  5 Stars

A cosy little hotel, with nice (even though small) rooms. Perfect location (just 5 minutes walk to major attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia). Burckin Hotel has a wonderful roof terrace, where they serve one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had, with lots and lots of Turkish delicacies. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again!

Room tip: I was staying on the 3rd floor, and my room was nice and quiet.
