"Per chi vuole spendere poco in all inclusive!!!!!!"

Rate:  3 Stars

"Not 5 * luxury but you get what you pay for"

Rate:  4 Stars

We stayed in 2010 and were 1 of only 2 English couples here at the time, not a problem. No rowdiness after we went to bed, the entertainment was just background music so no noise problems at all. The rooms were fine, clean and tidy.
Me and my partner are both fussy eaters and neither of us went hungry, it`s not English food but it`s not England. We ate there everyday, and yes some selections were made up of breakfast leftovers but other options were available. They served pastas, meat, vegetables and fish, proper meals not fast foods. To stay here didn`t cost much so we weren`t expecting the ritz and were pleasantly surprised. The sun shone all week and the holiday served its purpose. The local bars and restaurants are situated within walking distance, an English owned bar immediately situated outside the front entrance will make you feel extremely welcome in a relaxed atmosphere.
If you are looking for a recreation of England with sun then this isn`t the place for you, if you prefer to have a quiet relaxing peaceful holiday and like to sample other cultures on a budget then I would highly recommend.

"I loved it"

Rate:  5 Stars

I stayed there in June 2012. Weather was great: air temperature +34 C, sea water +23 C. Sea water is very warm and nice in this area, which is important (compered to Kos island where I was before- was imposible to swim there comfortably, as sea water was cold).
Very nice, clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the beach -5 min walk. All inclusive catering type. Food was good- plenty of choices for all tastes. No noise problems in the evening. Bar is opened till 23:00, afterwards is quiet. Lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants near hotel. In just walking distance from hotel is taverna "White Lady" with traditional greek dancing nights on Mondays, belly dance on Wednesdays, caraoke on Saturdays. There is a local bussses going to Rethimno center- cost 1,20 Euro one way. Last bus from Rethimno to hotel goes about 23:30. Car, scooter and motorcycles are for rent on every step, as well as excursions to buy - prices are discussable.
I can reccomend this hotel, you will not be dissapointed.

Room tip: All rooms have balconies. You can order room with "sea view" that would help them in plann...

Rate:  4 Stars

Rate:  1 Stars

"Awful"

Rate:  2 Stars

This was also recommended to us by the Co-op and yes the food was truly awful!
My partner`s first time in an all-inclusive hotel and he was shocked that food could be so dire.
We checked out what was on offer at the hotel for each meal and found we had to go out to eat every time...this made it a very expensive stay. As for the `snacks` on offer (at very limited times) they were usually cold croissants left from breakfast or tasteless biscuits.

To make matters worse there was only one other English couple in the hotel which is probably why the menu was orientated to eastern European tastes. Other guests were predominantly Russian, Hungarian, Lithuanian and the remainder were German, Dutch or Finnish

"A wonderful stay"

Rate:  4 Stars

We stayed at Rethymno Village with a group of friends in July 2010 and had a great time there. The hotel is close to the beach (ca 5 min walk) and locals shops/taverns. Rethymno is just a short bus-ride (€1.20) or taxi-ride (€8) away. The meals were good (plenty of selection for a 3* hotel and then there is always an option to dine out). The staff was super friendly, nice and helpful - they really made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were a bit outdated but clean. The pool area was lovely. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

It`s a simple hotel in a very good location, because there`s where to go outdoor in the evening. Rooms are very simple, but you only sleep and keep your clothes in there. Pool zone is ok, staff is friendly . Food, well you can always find what to eat, there were days, when we got surprised, but mostly it`s the same. Greek salad super!!! Drinks as written, beer, home made wine and so on. Icecream for everyone in special hours:) I can call this hotel more suitable for families and elder people. The only animation is CD, but it`s not a problem at all, because everythere around you can find what to do, in Rethymno even more:)
Not far away you can find taverna with best Sirtaki evening, really worth to see!
