"Too far away from beaches and attractions."Rate:  2 Stars
Firstly a hotel was little bit too far away from services, attractions and beaches. Well, there was a beach nearby but who could take a sunbath if there is lot of rocks and trash???
Almost everyday we had to walk about 3 - 4 kilometers to Platanias or Agia Marina.
And why we didn´t take a bus? They were never on schedule and it would have been real lucky if bus even came.
Hotel was cheaper than hotels in platanias but I definitely recommend you to pay more.
Hotel room was spacious and pretty clean. I think that`s all about good sides of hotel. We didn´t have always warm water on shower and our toilet broke. Also floors were cold and made from stone.
Staff were nice but not as friendly as we hoped. Once we visit to the hotel bar they served for us some drinks even we didn´t ask for it. And you must always pay. I think we were lucky when we finally went from hotel and staff didn´t remember those drinks...

Our travel agency Finnmatkat and Tui fly nordic flight was delayed as always,..and travel company forgot inform hotel that guests will arrive allmost 6 hours late. I travelled with 2 small kids and and we arrived to Chania 2 am at the morning, I took a taxi so we will save some time and be at the hotel sleeping some before than other guests arriving by Bus. Nobody waited us,..reception was closed,. It was cold spring wind and after 1 hour bus and guide arrived trying desperately call somebody. It took about 2 hours,.when receptionist arrived and she was drunken. It become awful mess because she did not know what kind of rooms we have booked and some were still unprepared and dirty. Finally we were sleeping 7 am,..9 hours late,
Next day sms arribed m y cell phone and we got a meeting with Finnmatkat guides,.hotel admin and guests from Finland . Finnmatkat pushed problems to hotel but it was not the fault of them. Hotel owner was really sorry what happened and offered all of us free aircon and fruit plate with nice red wine.
Pool bar is great place to stay and service really friendly,..but no toys and entertaintment to small kids, Hotel location is nice,..so quiet and just a walk distance to beach and bus stop. Room condition was poor and forexample fridge was badly roasted,.. renevation badly needed.
Our trip to Crete was June 2010

"Avslappende ferie"Rate:  3 Stars
Stranden ligger like etter denne...

"Super ophold"Rate:  5 Stars
Vi var 3 voksne og 3 børn, 15, 11 og 9 år, afsted i juni 2012. Vores ferie var over al forventing.

"Definitely not for English speakers"Rate:  2 Stars
It is good if you are from Sweden, Norway or Denmark as this is definitely not for an international English speaking traveller.
Most bookings are from fritidsresor, which we also incidentally (most regretable!) used for our booking. So the menu, travel desk, guide plans are all in Swedish!
The reception is mostly not manned during the days. This hotel is 500 meters from the sea, the beachs are mostly with pebbles, you have to walk quite a bit to get to a sandy part. The bath had water blockage, and we didnt get any cleaning service for the first 3 days of our stay.
There are some good restaurants around this hotel. Gerani village is less crowded and quite.
