"Very good hotel"

Rate:  4 Stars

The hotel provides excellent service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is great and the location is fantastic (5 minutes walk to the metro station (U-Bahn / S-Bahn) and from there less than 10 minutes to Berlin main station.

"Good hotel with everything you need except AC"

Rate:  4 Stars

The hotel is a good choice for a few days intense trip to Berlin.
The LOCATION is quite convenient: vis a vis the U-Bahn station and the bus station, two minutes from an S-Bahn station. The hotel is close to the Charlottenburg Palace and to one of the locations to hop on a boat cruise on the Spree river.

The ROOM is big enough for an average person. There are two beds, a desk, a TV set, mini bar, an armchair, a table etc. The bathroom was a nice surprise: big mirror, nice shower, good hotel cosmetics, a powerful hairdryer.
The only problem of our room was the lack of AC - it got really stuffy and hot inside (I must admit, those were some hot days in Berlin!). The provided fan did its best, but wasn`t much help. The other thing that might boder some people is the noise which starts very early in the morning (we had the street view room).

The HOUSEKEEPING and the RECEPTION service was perfect. Very nice, caring people.

Other visitors mentioned the elevator problem... That`s true, it`s wierd but we never had problems with it.

Overall we liked the hotel. We would give it 3*

Room tip: If you are a light sleeper, ask for the rooms facing the backyard.

"`Kant` find better!"

Rate:  5 Stars

Poor pun, I know... However, this hotel is excellent value for money. Have just spent 5 nights here and would thoroughly recommend this as a base for exploring Berlin. Charlottenburg Station is just round the corner (direct line to Schoenfeld airport) and an underground station is outside the hotel door. Berlin Opera is a brisk 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of shops to browse and a shopping mall & a TK Maxx nearby if you want some retail therapy. Plenty of good restaurants too. The room was warm and comfortable with a small kitchen (?!) The buffet breakfast has a wide selection of both hot and cold food to choose from. With great views over Berlin from the roof-top restaurant/breakfast room- what`s not to like about this hotel? It also has a computer at the reception offering free internet access. The staff are superb and so helpful. Definitely value for money.

"Wonderful stay in Berlin."

If you want a clean, friendly Hotel that try to help you at all times then this Hotel is for you!
My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. After a very noisy first night we asked to be moved to a quieter room as asked for. Within 2 mins we had a lovely room at the back of the Hotel and slept like logs!! Room clean, bathroom spotless and beautifully up to date decor. There was a mini bar if you so needed too. Beds really comfy too.
The breakfasts were really fresh and you can enjoy the roof top terrace outside or inside at any time. They have a fab selection of hot and cold food, with great selection of tea leaves and breads!!
They serve drinks 24/7!! and the bar staff are so helpful too. They recommend places to visit with the aid of maps they give to you for free.
Wasps were a bit of a night mare but nothing we couldn`t handle!
We would go back tomorrow.
Buy a day pass on the buses and you can use the trains/underground too. Make sure your ticket is up to date as the inspectors are in plain clothes and spot check at any time!

Room tip: Ask for a room over looking the courtyard for a good night sleep! Also the higher the better. Room 5...

"Great hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

In an excellent location, near rail station and underground. Our room was really large and bright and spotlessly clean. Large walk in shower. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included a huge array of fresh leaf teas. Very generous times too for breakfast and checkout. We liked the security aspect-to get to rooms you had to get 2 lifts via reception. The bar area was very pleasant with fantastic views and opened 24 hours daily. What really appealed was how friendly and genuinely helpful all the staff were.

"Good Location For This Spotless Hotel"

Rate:  5 Stars

Yes, reception is on the 7th floor but it`s not hard to push the elevator button. Staff bend over backwards to help guests with all aspects of seeing the city. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast very well done. There are several shops close by with a variety of goods .
