"A little out of the way, but an excellent place to stay."

Rate:  4 Stars

Staff were very polite and helpful, and our room was modern, well-presented and tranquil. The hotel isn`t right in the middle of things, but there are one or two restaurants nearby and the Ostbahnhof station is only a few minutes walk away. Having read the other reviews it does seem that the hotel is more suited to couples, as our room featured a floor-to-ceiling window between the bedroom and bathroom, making the shower totally visible... not a problem for us, but certainly would have made it a bit awkward had we perhaps been travelling with friends or colleagues!

"Modern hotel, delightful stay and decent price!"

Rate:  5 Stars

We traveled as a group of 3 couples for a stay in Berlin for 3 nights over the New Year. From getting off the aeroplane it was quick and easy to access Innside Berlin hotel through the airport express train, which dropped us off approx 3 minutes walk away at Ostbanhof Station. The area itself is a little intimidating if travelling as a young couple but as there were 6 of us, this was not a problem. The hotel was lovely and modern, whilst the staff could not do enough for us. We were only expected to check in at 3pm but as we had an earlier flight we asked if there was anywhere to put our luggage, he ensured us that 1 of our rooms were ready and we were able to check in right away. The reception staff gave us a map and went into extensive detail to pinpoint all the local amenities, this was very helpful indeed. Prior to booking, I signed up to the Melia Rewards scheme and found that upon my stay I managed to get 15euros per room each day to spend in the hotel bar or minibar. This was a bonus and very handy when waking up in the morning and needing a drink out of the minibar. This hotel was very close to the Berlin wall and transport links round the corner. Also there is a shop right around the corner which is also convenient. The bathrooms are very open plan, but for myself that was not a problem and we knew what we were buying into. The beds were comfy but yes the pillows are very soft, can be folded over but again that`s just personal preference. Rooms were of a decent size and as I booked the rooms together they were allocated next to each other which was lovely. All rooms seemed to face into the courtyard, and heating was a nice temperature. Towels got changed every other day but the maids were in each day. The hotel bar is fairly quiet but staff again very attentive! I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!

"Very good hotel, a little out of towm"

Rate:  4 Stars

Returned from this hotel on 7th Feb. Firstly i would like to say that this hotel is not directly in the City Center. However don`t let this put you off. It is only a 3 min walk to the U-bann station and the trains run day and night every 3 mins! For around 6 euros a day you can travel around Berlin on all transport as many trips as you want. There area around the hotel is mainly residential and not too pleasant but ok. There is a small shop and a supermarket.
The reception staff are very helpful and provide you with a map and directions to the city center.
The basic rooms are very good. They have a King size bed (very comfy if a little hard), the pillows are far to soft, however you can have more pillows if you ask for them. The shower area is, as others have said, very open. It is a circular glass pod at the bottom of the bed!! ok if you are part of a couple but perhaps not so if you are traveling with friends. The bathroom area is also open plan. Neither the towels or bedding where changed during our 3 night stay. there is no tea/coffee making facilities that i would have expected from a 4 star. Dressing gowns are supplied if you ask for them which i thought was really nice. The room is very comfortable but even though the room was warm enough (even in Feb), we couldn`t find any form of heating or heating control!!
Breakfast is quite good with hot and cold food. Cooked breakfast includes bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. Plus yogurt, cooked meats and cheeses and a good bread selection. There was also plenty of fruit.
For the money we paid it was well worth it and we would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: All the rooms are very quiet.

"Very comfortable, great location, great price"

Rate:  5 Stars

This hotel was in a renovated industrial building near the ostbahnhof. The room was very nice, though I have to say with a caveat that it may not be the best hotel for two friends staying together as the shower is a glass tube in the middle of the room. Otherwise it was a very comfortable hotel for a wonderful weekend in Berlin.
