"Good price vs. quality"

Rate:  4 Stars

Quality versus price in this place was on right balance. Family room we booked was big. Hotel situated on a quiet road and just one block away from the underground station. It was just perfect for us!

PS. This hotel was a bit hard to find, since it`s situated on the second floor of the house.

"Preiswert und sauber"

Rate:  4 Stars

"Nice building, big rooms"

Rate:  4 Stars

We stayed here just one night passing by Berlin thus it suited us well that this hotel is close to the Berlin ring road and outside of the enviromental zone. The whole building was charming with high ceilings, double windows, etc. but in good condition. Very nice and friendly staff.
We ordered tripple room which was very big with double bed and two sleep sofas. Bathroom was built-in in one of the corners of the room which seemed a bit strange at first but served its purpose. The only minor fault was squeeky wooden floor which made it hard to tip-toe around when the kids were asleep:)
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - for such a small hotel there was quite wide choice of cold and warm items, all fresh and tasty. Good value for money.

"Permanenza piacevole"

Rate:  3 Stars

Zona ottima.
Camera molto grande, colazione soddisfacente.

"Quirky, Oldie Worldie, Expensive During the Messe"

Rate:  3 Stars

We were surprised to get rooms here during a Berlin messe as it is only a 10 minute walk. Because i guess of the messe it was 130€ Per night for a twin with breakfast.

The hotel is in West Berlin, but just a 2 minute wqlk to the underground or a 15 minute walk to the S Bahn WestKreuze.

Hotel reception is one the second floor of an old building, rooms are further up on various rooms with doctors and dentists mixed in. The whole set up with the creaking lift in the middle of the stairs would remind you of a Cold War Thriller.

Rooms were large and very clean.

"Quite a find."

Rate:  4 Stars

As I was visiting my god daughter who is a student in Berlin I required bed and breakfast only preferably near to her own apartment which was in Charlottenburg. I did have the advantage of her knowledge of the area and she was able to visit in person before booking on my behalf. hotel is placed very well as metro goes direct to city centre and one can therefore access all the city very quickly. This means you get to stay in a less noisy and expensive area but can be amongst the city life in five minutes. Having said that, the hotel is on a very busy main road but the room I had was on the front and double glazed. OK for me this time as the weather was foul but usually I prefer to have a window open and not too sure how this would affect a light sleeper!! There are a number of rooms to the back of the building and some at the upper level on the side. There is a lift.
Breakfast was excellent. The usual continental, choice of all teas, coffee, fruit juices
all the cooked meats, cheeses fruit, yoghurt, smoked salmon, sausages, boiled eggs
etc. etc. served from 7 till ll am which I thought was very generous of them.
No bar, no restaurant no fridge in room but that didnt bother me at all. pleased with room which had obviously been recently re decorated
bathroom was super clean (shower only no bath- I prefer) hair dryer plenty of shelf space and crisp white towels electric point and mirror a bonus for the hair equipment and make up!!! Good value for money, thoroughly recommend it, would stay again.
