"Don`t stay anywhere else..."

Ideal for so many age groups and parties.
Excellent location and within 100 yards from Birkenstr underground station (equally easy to comprehend).

The bedrooms are large with the third bed a decent size for any adult. The bathroom is large again with a great walk-in shower. The decor of the room is well thought out. Lots of accessories to demonstrate thought and added touches.

Nice and quiet at nice. Easy to open windows but safe enough to leave open at night. Beds are really comfy. Usual tea & coffee facilities, mini bar and safe.

There is a grand reception area serving free tea & coffee in the mornings. The bar wasn`t very comfortable, although the open fire looks fantastic the sofas are not at all relaxing. A nice place for the first or last drink of an evening but that`s all. We didn`t eat at the hotel.

There are nearby cafe`s - Aroma is one and on the way to the underground. It is fantastic and highly recommended.

There is a supermarket and shopping centre under the hotel, which the staff will advise you of, a nice gesture as its not part of their hotel. You will find a great Chinese buffet on the top floor with an astonishing amount of choice!

Only positive things to report. Staff kind and lent us travel plugs.

"Great hotel"

Rate:  4 Stars

I stayed here for 3 nights with husband and two children and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel is a bit out of the city centre but there`s an U-bahn stop close by and there are some nice restaurants also on the nearby streets (I would especially recommend Arema close to the the underground stop, it was great both for breakfast and dinner). the Tegel airport is only a few kilometres away and it was very easy to get to the hotel by taking the TXL bus to Turms strasse and then taking the U bahn to Birkenstr which is only one stop away. On the way back we toom a taxi and it cost about 15€. The grocery store at the shopping centre underneath the hotel was very handy. We stayed in a suite which consisted of two rooms with a folding door between. It was quite large and very nice for a family. The hotel guests have also free access to a fitness centre in the same complex and it was very well equipped and excellent place for a workout. Just remember to take the hand towel from the room with you because they won`t let you in without one! The only minus is that I asked at the reception about children`s play area and was instructed to go to a children`s party place also in the same complex. So I went there with the kids only to find out that it wasn`t free. There was discount for hotel guests but nevertheless it would have cost for an adult and two children about 12€.

"More than Expected!!"

Rate:  5 Stars

I work for a 4 Star resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach Florida as a Guest Service Agent. I always book directly with the Hotel to ensure NO mistakes. I called the Hotel MOA & was very impressed with the entire long distance experience. There English was Perfect. They were all so very kind & Helpful.
I spoke with a 5 Star employee by the name of "Sebastian Hartleb" What a gentleman. So helpful with all of my questions. I will be arriving in Berlin late at night & he assured me that the train service did indeed run late & he verified that my directions right to the station near the hotel front door were Correct. He also gave me a direct line if I needed anything upon my arrival. So Very Happy. To sum things up, If my stay is half as GREAT as my reservation experience. I will be one happy guest. Sincerely Excited Hutch

"Awesome"

Rate:  5 Stars

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in March this year, when we were visiting our son who is working in Berlin. The hotel was convenient for the airport and underground and the restaurants nearby were fantastic. The room itself was large, clean, comfortable (we were asleep by 10 each evening!), quiet and well stocked - and after my husband walked off with the key twice, we were even given a second one!!(key not room lol). The staff were exceptional - we were given a glass to remind us of our visit to one establishment that got broken - not only did they track a new one down, but gave us a complimentary glass of champagne ! Free internet allowed us to check in for return flights home, and the reception area was light airy and a welcome place to read the paper on a morning. Absolutely fantastic value for money, this is a definite for a revisit in the future - we loved every aspect

Room tip: our room overlooked the atrium and was quiet

"Great staff - poor hotel"

Rate:  2 Stars

Stayed here in April 2014 for a 2 day business conference.
After arriving at the hotel, and realising it was at the far end of the world (20mins taxi-drive to downtown Berlin) we requested to have some rooms on higher floors facing outwards. Indeed we received a view - of an adjecent building about 5 metres away. The rooms were perfectly tidy & clean - but the bed was way too soft and the pillows way too hard. The hotel as such is a labyrinth of doors, passages and hallways and rather dark. This hotel does not deserve the 4-star rating. For a 3-star hotel it would have been sufficient. Additionally, the complementary wifi is unstable... The connection is slow and unreliable, I had to re-open the connection about every 15 minutes. Not nice when you have a 2 day conference...

Despite the "poor" hotel, I must admit that the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. All requests are handled with a smile.

"First class reception"

Rate:  5 Stars

We stayed at the hotel from 11th to 14th April.

Unfortunately I had lost my mobile phone in the incoming airplane. I contacted the reception and they made a great effort to contact the LOST AND FOUND in the Tegel Airport. Other receptions would probably just have given it ONE try, but this reception did not give up. After two days I could collect my mobile phone in the Tegel Airpport, which, by the way, is only 30 minutes away from the hotel (one station to Turmstrasse U-Bahn and then the TXL bus to the airport)
This service is much appreciated.

Room tip: We stayed in room 736 which was nice and quiet
