"Clubbing in Greece"

Rate:  5 Stars

Having visited several places in Greece, this is definitely one worth a second (or third, or seventh...) visit! You will find hospitality in a relaxed and informal manner, you can wind down and enjoy your vacation, long or short, in a friendly and most pleasant environment. The beaches are a stone`s throw away, and you have plenty of choice - rocky, sandy, windy or calm. Breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed at leisure at the club, with the best choice of what the island can offer, adding a very international touch, and great atmosphere. The place is small enough for the owner to know everybody personally and the location is simply fantastic. Our girls got sadder every day that departure was coming... The rooms were comfortable and nice, and service was very good. We enjoyed having friendly cats and dogs around, and the greenery on the island is gorgeous. In all, if you want a relaxing and happy beach holiday, go for this place!

"Each day I loved this place more"

Rate:  4 Stars

Agistri ticked our every box for a 3-day fix of Greece. Accessible from Athens, escape from UK deluges to heat & blue skies, great swimming in clear clear water, all our favourite Greek food.
The Agistri Club is charming in the true sense of the word.
Characterful, pretty, tranquil sea-views. It didn`t seem to matter what time you showed up for breakfast - how nice not to be rushing for a too early deadline. Slight tip here.....if Greek cornflakes aren`t to your taste & you like cereal at breakfast, take your own - I will be taking my own muesli next time. Harriet`s homemade jellies & jams however are delicious.
The evening food is flavoursome & skillfully cooked by Bashkim, served on a moonlit terrace where you could be as chatty or not as you liked with delightful mix of fellow guests & hosts. The Agistri Club exudes a convivial atmosphere.
Skala `town` is a 5 minute walk with a sandy beach & there is a small shingle cove right below the hotel. My favourite though, was taking the 20 minute bus ride to Aponisos at the other end of the island - lovely swimming & a great taverna for lunch.
I really hope that it won`t be long before we go back.

Room tip: We chose to stay in the annex & i loved it, especially sitting under the awning on the balcony l...

"A Perfect Creation in a Perfect Location "

Rate:  5 Stars

Thanks to Henriette, Laura and Bryan for the courtesy they have had for us since the moment we have put our first foot in Agistri. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are exceptionally clean, the staff at the bar/restaurant has always been very kind.
It worths to be mentioned also the perfect music choice as background of our cocktails during the night. The sight from our room was something of indescribable for it`s beauty; the olive trees in front of us, cicadas sound and the magnificent sea made the experience something of unique.
Being there with the person you love is something impossible to forget; your sensorial experience is pushed over the edge of any beautiful sensations felt before.
Thanks to Bryan and all his staff once again.

And Agistri Club is not a hotel, it is a haven. It is a perfect creation in the most wonderful setting. It is everything it should be, it lacks nothing and nothing is superfluous.

Thank you so much.

"Simple Sophistication "

Rate:  5 Stars

Our first visit to The Agistri Club Hotel coincided with the full moon, glowing over the ocean while we dined, on delicious food, outdoors. Memorable. As was the whole visit. We were cossetted by Bryan,Harriet and their delightful crew, from the moment we arrived. The hotel is charming and very comfortable, with gentle breezes belying the heat. All the promises of island hopping, temple visiting and other energetic activities were totally abandoned. We were so content with the Hotel, glorious beaches, and turquoise water that we just wanted to stay close to base. We had the best sleep ever, in our cool bedroom, with balcony, overlooking the ocean. It was so quiet that we felt totally restored. Loved every second. The other guests were international, interesting and fun to play with. If you wanted to be alone it was respected. The Agistri Club is a special place and one that we heartily recommend for the perfect break. I don`t think it will be long before we return.

"Perfect sea view"

Rate:  4 Stars

Best location in the island, best view, very quiet & clean. The room was in the 1st floor of the main building & I believe those rooms are the best compared to other rooms situated on the ground.
The food restaurant was really nice although quite expensive. The family was helpful & polite.

"simply paradise"

Rate:  5 Stars

I stayed with the Agistri Club family a while back before I began a study abroad program that summer in Hydra... it was my FIRST time out of the USA and traveling mostly alone as a female i was nervous as what to expect- The owners/Agistri Club family was so hospitable and friendly I cried the morning I had to leave! The room was a great size for two travelers and had a spectacular ocean view. My study-abroad friend and I went for hikes, explored the backstreets of town, and shared dinner on the hotel site the last night we stayed. Food was superb and we loved sharing appetizers family-style while enjoying probably the most beautiful view on the island and live music. I have passed along cards to family and friends in hopes they will get to share the wonderful experience i had. I plan to return this year after moving to Italy.

Room tip: for two single travelers the regular sea-view room was fantastic.
